On each barplot, the distribution of individual values is demonstrated. In our study, a saccade was an eye movement between two faces, regardless of direction. The TD population and patients with DEL preferentially made saccades between the sample and target faces. Furthermore, whereas the TD population equally distributed their saccades between the other faces, the patients with DEL made more saccades between the sample and distractor faces than between the distractor and target faces. For individuals with UPD, the high level of variability meant that the relative numbers of saccades between the three faces were statistically similar
