Pedigrees of enrolled families: In family A father and son are affected by vascular type EDS, daughter and mother are not. The father (ID5) was the index person. In family B the mother (ID16) was the index person. She and three of her sons were enrolled in the study. Her brother is diagnosed having a heart aneurysm but could not be enrolled in the study. In family C one daughter was the index person (ID12). She, her sister, the mother and the niece were enrolled. Her brother died on a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm at young age.
