  1. SEPs were recorded after stimulation of the median nerve at the wrist or the tibial nerve at the ankle, and SAPs were recorded in the median or sural nerves. N9, Erb point; N13, cervical spinal cord posterior horn; P14, gracilis and cuneatus nuclei; N20, parietal cortex, and P30, frontal cortex. '+' indicates a recorded potential and '-'an absent potential. ND: not done. SAPs were dromically registered with surface electrode in the ulnar nerve (head level, normal ≥ 8 μV) and antidromically in the sural nerve (foot level, normal ≥ 8 μV)
