  1. A univariate analysis of variance was conducted to compare the effect of reported hearing loss on each of the dependent variables described in the table
  2. PTA = pure tone average (0, 5, 1, 2, 4 kHz), SRT = speech reception threshold in noise, SNR = signal-to-noise ratio
