Course of spontaneous exfoliation and primary tooth extraction in STAT3-HIES patients. The number of primary teeth remaining in the oral cavity is shown in all patients except for patient #2, who had not yet reached the age of teeth shedding, and patient #1 and #5 with inconspicuous shedding of primary teeth. The grey area represents the average exfoliation period of primary teeth according to Logan and Kronfeld [20]. Due to timely extraction, the primary teeth exfoliation of patients #6 and #10 is within the average age range
