Governance structure. ERN RARE-LIVER comprises a network board and a management board directed by the network coordinator (currently Prof. Ansgar Lohse). The operational arm of the network is supported by three disease pillars. Pillar 1: Autoimmune liver disease. Pillar 2: Metabolic, Biliary atresia and related diseases and Pillar 3: Structural liver disease. Each pillar is directed by a clinical committee and is made up by experts from the health care professionals and patient advocates
